Congratulations to Parkway Real Estate Co. on reaching the milestone of five years in business! It's a significant achievement and a testament to hard work, dedication, and resilience. Celebrating this milestone was a great way to acknowledge the accomplishments and progress made over the years in the Chico community.
During the first year at Parkway, our community encountered the devastation of the Camp Fire in Paradise, California. Our local real estate market was flooded with buyers that were desperate to find homes and prices soared. Housing inventory was at an all time low for our market and most scrambled. Although Parkway was a growing office at that time and we knew that we had to help our community any way we could by simply providing the best service to our clients and worked harder than ever to do so. Whether that meant being patient with a buyer as you toured house after house because the right one didn't feel like home yet, or coaching sellers on how to price a home appropriately, we did it with our community in mind. We simply wanted to help everyone get back on their feet!
Then enter the era of COVID, Parkway's second year in business. Another very unknown time for the real estate market, but once again we persevered. We hunkered down and found creative ways to serve our buyers and sellers with video walk throughs, 3D Matterport layouts of listings, and virtual staging. The world of working from home became the new norm and yet we still worked even harder than ever to get offers accepted for our buyers and top dollar for our sellers. It was a wild ride through the face masks and record low interest rates, but we held on and helped several clients reach their dreams.
We have grown stronger and more knowledgeable as agents over the last five years by learning how to be adaptable, encountering loss, and navigating difficult situations. But, we have to say, this all benefits our clients! We are able to take on whatever is thrown our way and find a path to the finish line. Being part of a local company that is comprised of like-minded, top agents that are dedicated to their craft surely has been an honor.
